Packey McFarland
v.
Jimmy Britt

"... Jimmy was tired when he answered the bell for the sixth round but smilingly fought back the best he could. Packey shot over a straight left to the jaw and Britt dropped like a log. He staggered to his feet at the count of nine but he was practically out on his feet. McFarland looked around to the referee to see if that official would stop it, but was motioned to go on with the fight. McFarland backed Jimmy up against the ropes and measured him with a left. He swished over a full-armed right swing flush on the point of the jaw and Britt crashed to the canvas. At the count of five, Britt's father jumped into the ring and carried his son to his corner at same time waving Packey away."
