From the earliest days of publishing there were drawings,
illustrations, caricatures and cartoons. A favorite subject of this medium
was aside from things political was boxing. To nearly the end of the 19th
Century these rendering were only visual record of the events and participants.
Even when photographs became complace up to the present day the cartoonist's
drawings continueto provide a visual commentary beyond mere words.
This section is devoted to re-prints of some of the many
works that illuminated the sport throughout the centuries.
Copies of any of the drawings pictured are available.
The copies are printed on 110lb paper stock in size format
of approximately 8 X 10 inches,
