On aged legs, after seventeen rounds, over two fights , for this one fleeting moment he was the Dempsey of old.

The Dempsey of Toledo...

with murderous swiftness Dempsey connected...

and Tunney went down!

Atlast, it was as it was supposed to be...the invincible Dempsey about to ascend the throne once more..

But alas,
