This depiction to Ray Foutts, a tavern owner who happened to be at the East Liverpool and Junction Arena in 1929 when a middleweightf Teddy Yarosz won his first fight ( 4 rounds).

Foutts liked the way he refused to be hit and bought his contract for $150.00. 5 years later Yarosz ws the Middleweight Champ. 59 fights before his first loss.
