FOLEY KNOCKS OUT TREMBLE

Harry Foley took one step near the champ class when he put Ben Tremble out in the fourth round of their bout at San Francisco, Cal,. recently. The knockout blow was as much of a surprize to the boxers as it was to the audience. It happened about the middle of the fourth round. Tremble had been trying his hardest to land a right swing on the clever opponent's jaw but failed repeatedly. Suddenly Foley landed and Tremble was out cold.

On the undercard that night was Dixey Kid vs. Medals Dukelow. Dixie was not doubt glad to have the pay day, it having been a long Summer.

"Dixie still staying in jail, known "as a prizefighter who is hard to bill". As Aaron Brown he was booked for robbery, along with an accomplice, charged with rolling a man Saturday night on Alameda Street, taking a watch, "some coin" and other personal effects.

 

Brown is held on $1,500 bail for a hearing tomorrrow.
