Graziano v. Harold Green September 28, 1945 Rocky Graziiano Stands over
Harold Green after knocking him down in the third round. Referee Ruby Goldstein
had counted the final number when Green jumped to his feet and tried to
continue to fight. A brawl begam in the ring between the two fighters and
developed into a full blown riot as the ring filled with cornerman and
police. Graziano was declared the winner at 1:45 seconds of the thrid round.

Feud Rocky Graziano and Harold Green both came up hard from two of the toughest
neighborhoods in New York, Graziano from the East Side and Green from Brownsville.
When the met in the ring there was genuine bad blood. The fight resulted
in a knockout victory for Graziano, followed by a riot, followed by a one
year suspension for Rocky Graziano.
