Pete Herman was blind in one eye by 1923 and soon after loss the benefit sight in other eye.

Size: 1 1/2 X 4 1/2 inches as pictured. The signature is in a open space below the text of a letter ( 6 X 9 inches) written to Herman requesting his signature. It is accompanied by the envelope postmarked 1957.
