"Champion Jim Jeffries, who is touring New Jersey at the present time with " A Man from the West" show denies that he has any intentions of matching himself with Sharkey for a six-round contest, to take place at Philadelphia. The big fellow says his show is doing well enough to satisfy him, and besides he is still harping about a match with "Old Man Fitzsimmons", nothwithstanding that the latter says he has retired from the ring for good."
