Ray Miller

Ray Miller had the distinction of being the only man to ever knock-out Jimmy McLarnin. In late 1920's Ray Miller a natural left hander converted to a right handed fighter was the hardest hitting lightweight in the country. He knocked out Sid Terris in one round, Tommy Grogan in four, beat King Tut, and Billy Petrolle.

Ray Miller fought professionally for nearly a decade and was never to have a title fight.

Later in life he earned distinction as a referee, he was the referee who replaced Ruby Goldstein at the Robinson v. Maxim fight, when Goldstein collapsed from the heat.
