Champion Robinson is knocked through the ropes in the seventh round; he was back in the ring and up at the count of six.

Gene Fullmer won a unanimous fifteen round decision thereby becoming the Middleweight Champion of the World.

Trimmed from originaal 8 X 10 inch size. 1 inch closed tear with old tape repair on the reverse and three mild surface creases visible primarily in "raked" light in the upper right quadtrant in front of Gene Fullmer's face and extending 3/8 inch into Fullmer's face, not visible except upon close examination.
