In what was a frighteningly similar manner to the knockout that had resulted in the death of Jimmy Doyle, Phillipino, Flashy Sebastian, was felled at the hands of Sugar Ray Robinson.(1)

Sebastain was knocked out at 20 seconds of round number one, the second fastest knockout in Madison Square Garden history.

Sebastian was to remain unconscious for full half of an hour.

(1) June 24, 1947 Jimmy Doyle died following an eighth round technical knockout in his bout with Sugar Ray Robinson.
