Mike Twin Sullivan

Mike was the smaller of the two twin Sullivan brothers, his brother Jack although the same height out weighed Mike some thirty pounds. The Sullivan brothers fought all the name fighters of their time, on occasion sharing a common opponent. When eight days after Valentine's Day in 1908 Stanley Ketchel blasted Mike Sullivan in unconsciousness in the first round, his brother, Jack, stepped forward to challenge Ketchel. The two met some three months later and although Jack managed to go twenty rounds, his fate was the same, knocked out by the stone -like fists of Stanley Ketchel.
