WILLARD WANTS BIG MATCH AT JUAREZ

WHITE HOPE IN CONDITION: TAKES ON HARD MUSCLE

Willard Stands Ready to Give Jack All Time He Needs to Get Into Shape for Big Bout

No further word came today to the fight promoters or the camp of Jess Willard relative to Jack Johnson and his intention regarding the Juarez fight. Willard said tonight that he was certain Jack Curley would bring Johnson back and that the fight would be held at Juarez. Willard did not train any today, as it rained hard, but he said he would train tomorrow again.

"I am in fine condition, he said, and he looks it. Since he arrived, Willard has taken on much hard muscle and his face has assumed a brillant tan.

"I am feeling fine," he said , "but I will feel better when that smoke shows up in Juarez. I just want a chance at him. I would fight him anywhere, but I want to fight him here. I have been working to get in condition and I think it is due me that the fight be held here. I am willing to give Johnson all the time he wants to get into condition, for I want him to feel his best.

Ultimately, under the cloud of growing poltical instablity in Mexico the fight was moved to Havana, Cuba and set for April,1915, the rest is history.
